Why do I need a web site?

Everyone goes to the web for information now.  If you don't have a web site, or if your site is old-fashioned and boring, you're going to lose business.  Even before they pick up the phone, people check the internet to make sure they can find what they're looking for.  With a clear, professional web site that showcases you or your business, you will attract attention.  A web site is an invaluable and necessary tool.
A web site is working for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  It's always "on", always providing current information about you/your business.  And web sites are non-intrusive.  People visit them of their own free will and this makes them a great information tool.  Instead of inundating people when they're not interested, you can say "check out my web site".  It makes a huge difference.                 Back to Top

I’m a starving actor/playwright/director/musician. How can I afford a web site?

Compared to your average Joe Web Site Company, TheaterLoop is extremely affordable.  Like headshots, programs, or a set, a web site is a necessity. If you make it a priority, you can afford it.  And the responses you get will pay for the site over and over.  We just completed a site for an author and she is selling books like crazy, all over the world.
The hardest thing about being in the arts is getting noticed.  Agents and casting directors receive so many headshots that they don't even have time to open the envelopes.  And there are innumerable theater companies, so it's almost impossible to generate an audience by word of mouth alone.  That's why having a web site is so helpful.
Your résumé/headshot/gig schedule are extremely important. When you have a web site, it can easily be updated. It's the best way for people to get current information about you.  And a web site can be very detailed, including photos, reviews, music clips, reels, etc.

How long will it take to finish the web site?
Depending on the size of the site, it will take 2 to 4 weeks to complete.  A more accurate estimation will be provided at your first meeting.                                    Back to Top
